A Russian Christmas in Courchevel

Fireworks in Courchevel in the French Alps.

Janna Bullock, founder of RIGroup,
an international real estate and development company, hosted Russian Christmas in Courchevel to mark the launch of her new luxury hotel brand S Club. Courchevel 1850 is a fairytale ski town in the French Alps, a haven for the rich and glamorous. Hundreds of guests swathed in furs stepped from their cars onto a red carpet as gentleman lead the ladies into horse drawn carriages towards the Chalet Pierre where the S Club was giving the cozy and elegant party.

The drivers, dressed in the traditional Russian garb of Cossacks, covered riders in fur blankets for the journey along a winding road lit by bonfires and flaming torches. Guests were greeted by a three-story snowman and an enormous ice sculpture, lit from within by flames. The serene effect was continued as guests sipped the finest French champagne while gazing out at the beautiful French Alps.

Chic women dripped in jewels and wore only the finest haute couture. It was a chalet packed with billionaires and an inner circle that never fails to fascinate. There was caviar, lobster, filet, and every imaginable delicacy on the planet, all washed down with bottles of Cristal. At midnight, legendary Italian singer Toto Cutugno performed for the lucky guests. DJ Denis Simachev, a Moscow designer, manned the turntables as guests danced well into the morning.

Party planner Titan failed to leave out any details in creating the magical evening for Mrs. Bullock. Her company’s motto is ‘the art of development’ and this ski in and ski out project is a testament to that. The model of the five star hotel Bullock’s building in Courchevel with the help of some of the world's most noted artists, architects and interior designers features penthouses and residences with sweeping views of the slopes of Pralong.
