FRIENDS OF INNER-CITY SCHOLARSHIP FUND HOSTS 36th ANNUAL GALA
Join hundreds of guests to support Inner-City Scholarship Fund (ICSF), the city’s leading non-profit organization dedicated to providing tuition assistance for disadvantaged students, at the ICSF FRIENDS Committee 36th Annual Gala on Tuesday, May 15th at 6:30 PM at Cipriani 42nd Street, located at 110 East 42nd Street (at Park Avenue), Manhattan.
David Ushery, NBC New York anchor and host, will emcee the evening which will include a pre-dinner program featuring the Mount Carmel – Holy Rosary School Ballroom Dancers who will perform popular dances including the Fox Trot, Swing, and more, followed by dinner and dancing.
Proceeds from the event will benefit Inner-City Scholarship Fund which provides scholarship support to nearly 8,000 students (93% minority and 36% non-Catholic) in 92 inner-city Catholic schools in Manhattan, the Bronx and Staten Island. Although two-thirds of its students live at or below the federal poverty level, an astounding 95% of graduates from ICSF-supported schools pursue college at some of the finest universities in the nation.
