  • Centennial Gala -- Celebrating Girl Scouts' 100th Anniversary
  • VIPs and luminaries will gather for a gala celebration marking 100 years of Girl Scouting in America. Journalist Deborah Norville, anchor of Inside Edition, will serve as emcee.

The “festive attire” event will be held at the elegant “583 Park Avenue” at 63rd Street. A reception begins at 6:30 pm and will be followed with the dinner, live auction and program featuring special Centennial tributes.
The Girl Scouts’ Annual Gala, which is held each Spring, is the organization’s largest annual fundraising event, providing critical funds for programs that benefit 25,000 girls in New York City, two-thirds of who come from low-income homes and whose participation is heavily subsidized by the Council.

Honorees include Deanna Mulligan, President/CEO of Guardian Life; Patricia Stensrud, Retiring Board President, Girl Scouts of Greater NY and John Thiel, Merrill Lynch Wealth Management & Investment Group.
