American Musicals Projects’ annual benefit gala, will feature George Gershwin’s Song-Book. The performance to be directed by Scott Alan Evans and starring Broadway veteran Victoria Clark with pianist Linda Hall, assistant conductor of the Metropolitan Opera, will feature Gershwin’s own arrangements for 18 of his favorite songs, unavailable since he played them on his famous 1934 concert tour, after which he handed the arrangements over to Simon and Schuster. The Paul Taylor Dance Company will celebrate its 2007 City Center season with a gala performance at New York City Center followed by a dinner dance at Cipriani. Armory Art Center's "Mad Hatter's Tea Party." Luncheon and silent auction of one-of-a-kind hand made teapots.
