Fundraising and Foliage

Last Thursday night, the American Museum of Natural History held its annual Winter Dance celebrating with a Desert Oasis theme.  One of the city’s most popular “junior” events, this year more than 700 young sophisticated New Yorkers attended. There were 200 who attended the black tie dinner in the Akeley Hall of African Mammals which was followed by dessert and dancing in the Theodore Roosevelt Rotunda.
