| A couple of weeks ago, the Young Friends of the New-York Historical Society presented An Evening at the El Morocco, a party inspired by the famous New York nightspot that dominated the New York society and celebrity scene between the 1930s and the 1950s with its white palms and blue and white zebra-striped banquettes. There was live jazz to complete the atmosphere for party-goers.
N-YHS President, Louise Mirrer joined benefit chairs Lisa Errico, Kristen McGinnis, Coralie Charriol Paul, Caitlin Tashjian and Samantha Topping in welcoming guests for the evening which was also a benefit to support K-12 educational programs, at the New-York Historical Society. Among those attending were fundraising committee members Beth Amorosi, Ellie Berlin, Amanda Essex, Gillian and Sylvester Miniter, Jessica Nagel, Alexandra and Louis Rose and Vicky Ward. |
