 Dance with the Dancers
This past Monday night, the New York City Ballet brought back one of the most anticipated events of the Spring Season – Dance with the Dancers at the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center.
The evening began with cocktails on the Terrace of the theater, followed by dinner and dancing on the Promenadewith music provided by Donna D’Cruz.
One of the highlights of the evening was the presentation of a special film created by NYCB dancers, followed by a dance competition where the crowd determined the winner. The crowd went wild as the NYCB dancers took the stage and performed to tunes from Michael Jackson to Donna Summer. Principal Dancer Amar Ramasar’s team won the competition with their brilliant performance to “She Works Hard for the Money." |

Since 1985, Dance with the Dancers has provided a unique opportunity for performing arts lovers to interact with New York City Ballet and its illustrious ensemble of dancers.
Maggie Gyllenhaal served as the honorary chairman with Leith Clark, Kipton Cronkite, Adelina Wong Ettelson, Sarah Sophie Flicker, Ashleigh Pattee, Amy Sacco, Allison Sarofim and Arden Wohl as event chairmen. Three NYCB dancers joined as dancer chairmen: Principal Dancer Sara Mearns, Principal Dancer Amar Ramasar and Corps de Ballet member Amanda Hankes. |
