Summer season in full swing

Cocktails at the Cancer Research Institute's 24th Annual Awards Dinner at The Mandarin Oriental.
This past Thursday night, the Junior Council of the American Museum of Natural History held its last party of the season which included a Museum Scientist Panel and Live Jazz, as well as cocktails on the Arthur Ross Terrace.

The season concluded with a panel discussion and cocktail reception. Along with maintaining one of the largest non-human frozen tissue collections in the world, Museum scientists have been conducting research on the medicinal properties of leeches and on the spread of infectious diseases such as avian flu, SARS, and malaria.
