| This past weekend in Aspen was artCRUSH, the event where more than 350 of the world's top art collectors, wine connoisseurs, artists, gallery owners, curators, celebrities, and global business leaders come together for three days of striking events to celebrate the Aspen Art Museum's 6th annual artCRUSH summer benefit gala. artCRUSH and its related events, wineCRUSH, previewCRUSH, and afterpartyCRUSH, began last Wednesday, with the main artCRUSH event taking place on Friday featuring the 2010 Aspen Award for Art presentation to renowned artist Marilyn Minter. |

| The festivities continued with a seated dinner, followed by a live auction of one-of-a-kind works hosted by Sotheby's auctioneer Tobias Meyer. The live auction included 11 Lots with artworks by Mamma Andersson, Kiki Smith, Ed Ruscha, Richard Phillips, Roni Horn, Tom Sachs, Delia Brown, Xavier Veilhan, Bertozzi and Casoni, Damien Hirst, and a very special work created by 2010 Aspen Award for Art honoree Marilyn Minter. 2009's artCRUSH event was a huge success, netting $1 million to support the AAM's contemporary art programming. |
