| This past Friday night in East Hampton Guild Hall celebrated the opening of the Barbara Kruger exhibition with installations in the museum’s galleries. Philanthropists Patsy and Jeff Tarr were also honored. The dinner was held on the oceanfront property of Julie Taubman. There was an auction with original signed art by artists from the East End including Richard Price, Larry Rivers as well as a personal tour by Alec Baldwin of the 30 Rock set. |

| The world premiere of Trust by Paul Weitz, starring Zach Braff, Bobby Cannavale, Sutton Foster and Ari Graynor, with Peter DuBois directing, officially opened at Off-Broadway’s Second State Theatre this past Thursday night after being in previews for almost three weeks. |

| Last Wednesday night, John Demsey hosted a a reception in honor of Annemarie Iverson and her new book In Fashion, published by Assouline Press. The book is Iverson’s guide to breaking into the fashion world. The event -- and Mr. Demsey, who is Estee Lauder Group President -- brought out a big group of fashion people and their admirers including Gabourey Sidibe, Bobbi Brown, Nicole Miller, Patri Li, Aerin and Jane Lauder, Jeannette Chang, Felicia Milewicz and Marianne Diorio of Estee Lauder, Jonthan Becker, Steve Benson, Jeff Podolsky, Roopal Patel, Pamela Taylor, Cece Cord, Judy Gordon Cox, Helen Lee Schifter, Dr. Brian Saltzman, Felicia Taylor. Hors d’oeuvres were by Cornelia Guest and her catering team from Templeton Events. |

| On Sunday, August 8th, Ingeborg and Ira Rennert opened their home for a special dinner benefiting the Museum of Jewish Heritage – a Living Memorial to the Holocaust. A Summer Evening in Sagaponack was a celebration of the Museum’s current exhibit Project Mah Jongg, which explores the history and meaning of the game that became a Jewish-American tradition. The exhibit includes original illustrations by Isaac Mizrahi, Maira Kalman, Christoph Niemann, and Bruce McCall. All proceeds from the night will benefit the Museum of Jewish Heritage – A Living Memorial to the Holocaust. |
