Marie Josee Kravis welcomes guests at a book party for Lin Arison and her new book Feast For the Senses; A Musical Odyssey in Umbria. |
Last Tuesay night at MOMA, Mikhail Baryshnikov, John Guare and Agnes Gund hosted a book party for Lin Arison and her new book Feast For the Senses; A Musical Odyssey in Umbria (Chronicle Books) produced in collaboration with Diana C. Stoll and Neil Folberg.
Feast For the Senses is part memoir, part travelogue that recounts Lin's journey through the Umbrian countryside in the company of Michael Tilson Thomas and members of the New World Symphony. It makes a wonderful holiday gift book, complete with color photos, recipes, and three DVDs. The book entwines Mrs. Arison’s passions for Italy's palazzos, gardens, churches and country inns, as well as for music, cooking, wine, architecture and the arts into a unique and beautiful keepsake. |
