Last Tuesday, July 26th, the Young Patrons Circle of American Friends of the Louvre held their annual Summer Fête and art collection viewing at a private townhouse in lower Manhattan.
The seven story property, decorated by Eric Cohler, featured a stunning collection of modern and contemporary art representing artists such as Avedon, Benson, Twombly and Warhol to name a few.

In addition, a special selection of black and white photographs taken by Elizabeth Gordon-Tennant, Accessories Designer at Calvin Klein, was also presented to the delight of those present. Members and guests enjoyed exploring the gorgeous home and having drinks on the two roof-top terraces in celebration of summer. The last event before members break for les grandes vacances of August, the Young Patrons ended their calendar on a decidedly high note of summer fun in the City.
The evening was made possible by The Corcoran Group, Eric Cohler and American Friends of the Louvre. |

American Friends of the Louvre was founded by the Musée du Louvre in 2002 to strengthen ties between the Louvre and its American public, and to formalize the long-standing generosity of American patrons. Over one million Americans visit the Louvre each year, making it the most visited museum by Americans after the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
The Young Patrons Circle of American Friends of the Louvre seeks to unite young professionals, philanthropists and art enthusiasts with a love for the Louvre and French art. Through events in New York and an annual fund raising benefit, the Young Patrons Circle helps American Friends of the Louvre achieve its educational and fund raising objectives. |
