Scott Pelley, managing editor for the CBS Evening News and correspondent for 60 Minutes led the evening as Master of Ceremonies. The George F. Prior to becoming Chief of Mission in Kabul, Ambassador Eikenberry had a 35-year career in the U.S. Army. Last year's recipient, New York City Police Commissioner Raymond W. Kelly, presented the award to Eikenberry.

Following Eikenberry's award, Muhtar Kent was honored with the Global Business Leadership Award, presented by last year's honoree Dr. Paul E. Jacobs, Chairman and CEO of Qualcomm.
