| Stars and stars and more stars lit up the array of glitterati who flocked to the Cinema Society screening of Evening recently. The film, based on Susan Minot’s critically acclaimed novel boasts an unparalleled ensemble. Director Lajos Koltai and screenwriter Michael Cunningham (“The Hours”) were also on hand, along with cast members Vanessa Redgrave, Glenn Close, Claire Danes, Hugh Dancy, Mamie Gummer, Patrick Wilson, Eileen Atkins and Ebon Moss-Bachrach (the film also stars Meryl Streep, Toni Collette, and Natasha Richardson).
Donna Karan and Cinema Society Founder Andrew Saffir hosted the evening. Following the screening, the crowd descended upon the new Bowery Hotel for the After Party (Moët & Chopin Vodka co-sponsored, along with Donna Karan). |
