Event Title: Delta Rho Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc and Dance Theatre of Harlem present the 2007 Pink and Green Ball. Event Description: The Brooklyn alumnae chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., in conjunction with The Dance Theatre of Harlem School, will hold its biennial Pink & Green Ball at Tavern on the Green beginning at 7:00 PM. This year’s ball is entitled “Dancing with the Sorors.” This event will showcase the Rhumba, Tango, and Harlem Lindy Hop dances, which will be performed by three couples consisting of an amateur dancer from Delta Rho Omega and a professional dancer from The Dance Theatre of Harlem. The net proceeds from the evening will go directly to support the work of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Delta Rho Omega Chapter Community Service Program Inc., a 501(c)(3) corporation, and the “Dancing Through Barriers®” program which is facilitated by The Dance Theatre of Harlem School.
