Annual Gala Dinner to Honor Esther Koplowitz consort marquise of Cubas by The Spain-US Chamber of Commerce.

Event Description:
The Annual Gala Dinner of the Spain-U.S. Chamber of Commerce is renowned as one of the most prestigious and elegant events among the Spanish and American business communities in New York. More than six hundred distinguished guests, including business, cultural, and social leaders from Spain, the United States, and Latin America, will attend the widely recognized gala of the Spain-U.S. Chamber of Commerce. This year they will gather to celebrate the selection of Esther Koplowitz, Honorary Chairperson and Primary Shareholder of Grupo Fomento de Construcciones y Contratas (FCC), as the recipient of the Business Leader of the Year Award Ms. Koplowitz has guided FCC through major growth and expansion in Spain and internationally. Most notably in the United States, FCC’s outdoor advertising subsidiary Cemusa won the contract to design and construct New York City’s bus shelters, newsstands and freestanding public restrooms. Cemusa was chosen as the winner of the “City’s Coordinated Street Furniture Franchise”. The Cemusa–New York agreement is one of the most lucrative city contracts ever awarded and could generate at least $1.4 billion for New York over the next 20 years.
