Event Title: Tria Gallery Opening Reception: " blue": Paintings by acclaimed artist Serena Bocchino Event Description: Bocchino’s work has recently been selected for inclusion in the Brodsky Print Center’s 25th Anniversary Exhibition at The Museum of Modern Art, to be held in New York in 2011. Inspired by the energy and life in jazz music, Bocchino’s paintings capture sounds and rhythms to marvelous and lively effect in her work, which she has described as “images of sound using paint.” Opening reception from 5 to 7 p.m. The exhibition runs through October 27, 2007.
