The Cinema Society and Nicole Miller were hosts of a screening of “The Life Before Her Eyes” recently.

The film, from director Vadim Perelman (House of Sand & Fog), stars Uma Thurman, Evan Rachel Wood and Eva Amurri. All three stars and Mr. Perelman joined Andrew Saffir, Cinema Society founder, for the screening at the IFC Center and party which followed in the Penthouse of the Soho Grand.

This past Sunday night Evelyn and Leonard Lauder were hosts, along with Caryn and Jeff Zucker, Judy Craymer, Felicia Rosenfeld and David Linde, President and CEO, NBC Universal, for the premiere of “Mamma Mia!” In honor of the Evelyn Lauder Breast Cancer Foundation at the Southampton Cinema in Southampton, N.Y. There was a dinner after the screening at the Parrish Art Museum, just footsteps away from the theatre on Job’s Lane.
