Bob Schulenberg was in New York last week, exploring the city that was his home for so many years, taking in those parts of the city that were once his haunts, intrigued by the changes. His favorite part of town, he confided, was the Meatpacking district. He could have sat at Pastis for hours and hours, just taking in the passing parade, and filling his sketchbook with images that caught his eye.
