The Inaugural Best Buddies Hamptons Beach Bash. |
Last Thursday night in the Hamptons The Venetian Foundation presented the Inaugural Best Buddies Hamptons Beach Bash hosted by Anne Hearst and Jay McInerney and Tatiana and Campion Platt.
Best Buddies was founded in 1989 by Anthony Kennedy Shriver, the son of Eunice Kennedy and Sargent Shriver.

Best Buddies is a non-profit with the charter to enhance the lives of people with intellectual disabilities by providing opportunities for one-to-one friendships and integrated employment.
There are now Best Buddies programs in all fifty States. Its six formal programs will impact more than 350,000 individuals this year. |

The Cinema Society along with SONY Cierge held a screening of "The Wackness," which won the prestigious Sundance Film Festival’s Audience Award and has received raves all around. It stars Ben Kingsley, Mary-Kate Olsen, Josh Peck and Olivia Thirlby, and was directed by Jonathan Levine, all of whom were present at the screening which was followed by dinner on the Roof of the Gramercy Park Hotel.
The Cinema Society’s founder Andrew Saffir welcomed a crowd that included Linda Wells, Alexie Gilmore, Matchbox 20’s Rob Thomas, John Corbett, Heather Matarazzo, Maggie Rizer, Milena Govich (“Law & Order”, “K-Ville”), Zach Galligan, Zuleikha Robinson (“New Amsterdam”), Ben Shenkman, Beth Ostrosky, Sante D’Orazio, Selita Ebanks, Keira Chaplin, Zoe Kravitz, Frederique Van Der Wal, Derek Blasberg, Jessica Gomes, Rufus Albemarle, Daniel Benedict, Marina Rust Connor, Meredith Melling-Burke, Ann Dexter-Jones, Johannes Huebl, Tim and Helen Schifter, Debbie Bancroft, Olivia Palermo, Eleanor and Jon Ylvisaker, Bettina Zilkha, Michael and Eleanora Kennedy, producer Joe Neurauter, and Sony Pictures Classics’ Michael Barker and Tom Bernard, all of whom supped and drank Moet & Belvedere cocktails well into the night. |
