| May 25, 2009. Memorial Day. A beautiful weekend in New York with temperatures in the summery 70s and 80s. The town clears out. Everything is quieter and slower. There were parades in Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island. And in colleges and universities all over the nation, our sons and daughters were graduating. Manhattan was an oasis of wonder. The other half of NYSD, JH was up in Ithaca, New York with his family attending the graduation of his sister from Cornell University. |
