| Last Sunday night out in East Hampton at one of their toniest clubs by the beach, the Animal Rescue Fund, known as ARF, held their annual Come, Sit and Stay Cocktail event to raise money for ARF’s wonderful cause of rescuing, looking after and finding homes for the abandoned, rescued, and abused pets once owned by idiots who don’t deserve any better for themselves in their own lives, and are usually missing out on the Main Chance of a healthy spirit. |

| The NYSD has a personal friend who was adopted from ARF about eight or nine years ago, one Oliver Dawg, a handsome clever devil who’s three steps ahead of almost everybody including his owner JH who is always (usually) in the thrall of the canine with the wit and wagging tail. A donation to ARF, no matter the size, is a step in the right direction when it comes to having a heart. |
