| Young New Yorkers for the Philharmonic enjoyed their annual summer benefit, raising over $55,000. The evening began with a cocktail party at Burberry and was followed by dinner-dance at Doubles. 225 Young New Yorkers attended the concert and 170 attended the dinner-dance. The evening was made possible by generous support from Burberry. |

| The Museum of the City of New York held a Chairman’s Leadership Award Dinner honoring William Donaldson, a founder of Donaldson Lufkin Jenrette who has spent the past four decades working in business, government and academia. Mr. Donaldson was also Chairman of Aetna Inc. and the New York Stock Exchange. He was also the first Dean of Yale’s School of Management and served as Chairman of the SEC, and most recently as a member of President Obama’s economic advisory board. |

| The Museum also named some “Gotham Giants” for their pioneering work on the Bank of America Tower at One Bryant Park, the nation’s first LEED Platinum skyscraper: Robert F. Fox Jr. and Richard A. Cook, of Cook + Fox Architects; the Durst Organization, represented by Helena Durst; and the Bank of American represented by Senior Vice President Michael Davidson. 285 attended the evening and they raised $885,000 for the Museum’s exhibitions and programs. |

| Golf enthusiasts and Hamptons philanthropists gathered to support the Hamptons Golf Classic V at the Hampton Hills Golf and Country Club in West Hampton, New York. New York Knicks point guard Chris Duhon hosted the event alongside NY Giants defensive end Justin Tuck and Hamptons Golf Classic Founder Zev Norotsky. Special guests included Real Housewives of New York City’s Jill Zarin as well as this year’s honoree, Richie Notar. The daylong sports event sponsored by Hamptons Magazine and Perrier raised money for Chris Duhon’s Stand Tall Foundation, addressing the needs of children through recreation. The money raised from the day’s event will rebuild basketball courts destroyed by Hurricane Katrina in Duhon’s home state of Louisiana. |

| Other attendees and golf players included Richard Johnson, Sessa von Richthofen, Adam Alpert, Greg Beinin, artist Adam Port, John Norotsky, Alan Rosenberg, Alan Weinstein, Jeffrey Rackover, John Brennan, and Glen Cho. VIP guests received complimentary TW Steel Watches and one of a kind Magaschoni cashmere sweaters. The evening concluded with an awards ceremony and silent auction. The annual Hamptons Golf Classic provides a venue where Hamptons personalities can come together to support an individual charity, which changes every year. Past recipients of the Hamptons Golf Classic’s fundraisers have included the Fresh Air Fund, the Make a Wish Foundation, and Help USA.
