Ribbons and Rewards at Fitch's Corner Horse Trials at The Millbrook farm of Fernanda Kellogg and Kirk Henckels.
The Millbrook farm of Fernanda Kellogg and Kirk Henckels was the site of the Fitch's Corner Horse Trials, a weekend of horse competition, social events, shopping and country fun. The core activity is the horse trials with over 200 horses competing for prizes from Tiffany & Co, Hermes, Hunter Boot, all sponsors of the event. Horse and rider are required to perform dressage, cross country and stadium show jumping. In between watching the horses, spectators enjoyed Fitch's Market, with 36 shops including the sellers of Hermes. From France, Hermes brought their custom made saddles and Julian their expert fitter. Hunter Boot USA booth was a sell out as the grounds were muddy from the rain and the fashionable boots were the accessory of the day.

This past Tuesday night the Cinema Society, with Brooks Brothers and Grey Goose, hosted a screening of “Adam,” which stars Hugh Dancy and Rose Byrne. The film was written and directed by Max Mayer, and received raves this week from critics as well as Tuesday’s crowd. Dancy and Byrne, along with co-stars Amy Irving and Frankie Faison, also atended the screening and party. Watching a movie with its stars in the screening room with you always gives it an extra jolt, especially when the picture’s really good. Afterwards the stars also attended the dinner which followed on the roof of the Gramercy Park Hotel.
