Last Saturday in Water Mill at Nova’s Ark Project ... Donna Karan, Ariel Foxman, Kelly Ripa, Blake Lively and InStyle hosted Super Saturday 12, all to benefit the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund. This is a Garage Sale Hamptons style the way you might imagine a Hamptons garage sale would be. Major designers donating: Donna Karan, Theory, Carolina Herrera, Calvin Klein, Catherine Malandrino, Diane von Furstenberg, Giorgio Armani, Ralph Lauren and Valentino. A special Super Saturday Accessories Salon showcased luxury accessories from such designers as Tory Burch, Louis Vuitton, Emilio Pucci. Plus there were events for the whole family with a kids’ carnival and activities and entertainment.

This past Saturday in Bridgehampton there was a kick-off Party for the 2009 Alzheimer's Association Rita Hayworth Gala at the home of Anne Hearst and Jay McInerney. Princess Yasmin Khan's mother, Rita Hayworth, died of Alzheimer's. Yasmin -- Yazzie to her many friends -- has made it her business to raise money for the cause. There are now annual galas in New York, Dallas, Chicago. In New York, the group of supporters are now legion and loyal. Many at this party have been helping their friend Yaz for many years now.
