| On a hot summer night, the Museum Council of the Museum of Fine Arts Boston (MFA) hosted its sixth annual SUMMER PARTY, a festive event featuring summery cocktails, hearty hors d’oeuvres, dessert, music by DJ Deja, dancing, and a juried silent auction including works by local artists. The theme of this year’s event was a Black-Tie Masquerade, where guests were encouraged to don creative masks along with their tuxedos and gowns. |

| The MFA’s Museum Council––one of Boston’s oldest Museum-affiliated groups for young professionals––is made up of philanthropic-minded people, ages 21-45. The group’s mission is to bring together art enthusiasts from diverse professions and backgrounds in support of the MFA. The more than 500 Museum Council members are offered unique avenues to further their understanding and appreciation of the Museum. In addition to receiving all benefits of Museum membership, Museum Council members enjoy preferential viewing privileges for major exhibitions and are invited to exclusive events designed to bring them closer to the Museum, its collections, and staff. |
