Denise Rich, songwriter/producer, philanthropist, mother, friend and hostess threw a summer cocktail party at her Southampton estate this past Saturday for Gabrielle's Angel Foundation for Cancer Research.

Denise created Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation for Cancer Research in 1998 in memory of her daughter Gabrielle who passed away from AML leukemia. Since its inception the Foundation has awarded twenty-nine grants totaling over six million dollars to promising young researchers in the fields of leukemia and blood-related cancers at many of this country’s leading institutions.
