It was a celebrity-fest again the other night when the Cinema Society drew a big crowd for a special screening of “Gray Matters” at the IFC Center.

The romantic comedy, from first-time writer/director Sue Kramer, isset in New York City. All of the picture’s stars -- Heather Graham, Tom Cavanagh, Bridget Moynahan, Molly Shannon and Alan Cumming -- were all on hand. Afterwards, there were cocktails at the new Frédéric Fekkai Soho, and then everyone moved on to a swank late-night supper at Barolo.

Cinema Society Founder Andrew Saffir and Frédéric Fekkai welcomed a starry crowd that included Terrence Howard, Jane Krakowski, Moby, Saturday Night Live’s Fred Armisen, Carson Kressley, Rachel Dratch, Milena Govich (Law & Order), Alexander Payne, Ben Shenkman, Marcus Schenkenberg, Jamee and Peter Gregory, Cari Modine, Shirin von Wulffen, Dan Abrams, David Zinczenko, Cynthia Rowley and Bill Powers, Douglas Hannant and Frederick Anderson, Amanda Brooks, Olivia Palermo, Jackie Astier, and producers Jill Footlick, Rachel Peters, John Hermansen, Joey Horvitz, and Ted Liebowitz.

The wee philanthropists who call themselves “The Society of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center's Kids Kick In Committee” and their moms (and some dads) had a meeting and ice cream social the other day to kick off The Society's 16th annual “Bunny Hop” that takes place tomorrow, March 13th. Susie Hilfiger, with her daughter Ally. was on hand to give the kids a hug and a pep talk. Her company Best & Co is sponsoring The Hop, The KKIC is made up of children of members of the Associates and board of The Society of MSKCC and their friends.

Annabel Darling brought the meeting to order. “Our purpose is to raise money for the Department of Pediatrics. This year, we will raise money for the Pediatric Prom, which is on June 7th. Also, our Kids Kick In Committee will help at the Bunny Hop collecting spare change. We call this Every Penny Counts. All of the change we collect from this change drive will go toward the cost of tuxedo rentals for the Pediatric Prom. I am happy to announce that we have over 15 kids signed up to volunteer already,” she reported

Chloe Coleman added,This spring our Committee will host the Third Annual Prom Dress Drive.   Each member will hold a letter writing campaign to ask out friends and classmates to donate gently used dresses that can be given to pediatric patients to wear to Pediatric Prom. We hope to get a lot of great dress donations!”

Isabel Villalba said,“This summer there will be 3 designated Kids Kick In summer weekends when each Kids Kick In member will be encouraged to set-up a lemonade stand, bake-sale or car wash to raise money for Pediatrics. In the fall we will bring in the money we have raised all summer and we'll have a really fun event to celebrate our great summer fundraising!” “We are very excited to be part of this year's Bunny Hop,” she added.
