Friday's frills

The Friends of New Yorkers For Children kicked off its April 19th dinner and dance at Emanuel Ungaro.
KiDS of NYU Foundation, Inc., sponsored a family bowling party to benefit pediatrics at NYU Medical Center on Sunday, March 11th at Chelsea Piers. Children from toddlers to teens, along with their parents, grandparents and guests, filled the 40 lanes, and also enjoyed roving magicians, face-painting, art projects and more. The "bowling bash" was chaired by Abigail Scheuer Atema and co-chaired by Lisa Watkinson and Kimberly Pozner. The event raised over $116,000. KiDS' next event, Springfling, will be held May 1 at Chelsea Piers. It will honor Alice Tisch, Chair of KiDS of NYU, and celebrate the 10th anniversary of Ms. Tisch's leadership. KiDS of NYU, an organization made up of parents, physicians and friends, supports children's services at NYU Medical Center through philanthropy, community service and advocacy.
