Public installations

Catherine Malandrino hosted a soiree to celebrate the new season of “Make Me a Supermodel.”
Vanity Fair and Bob Colacello hosted a reception for the BMW Art Car World Tour at its public installation in Grand Central Station. The BMWs are redesigned by Andy Warhol, Frank Stella, Robert Rauschenberg and Roy Lichtenstein.
The cars will be on exhibition through April 6th ...

The literati were present on the patio of the Instituto Cervantes to celebrate the launch of the PEN World Voices Festival which will run in New York from April 27th through May 3rd and feature 160 writers from 40 different countries. Some participating in the Festival are Neil Galman, Lou Reed, Laurie Anderson and Parker Posey.

On Tuesday night,, the invitation-only social website, hosted a Book Party. The event was to celebrate “American Hotel Stories”, a captivating new travel book published by Assouline. Guests enjoyed “Perfect Peach Martinis” and “Black Satin” vodka cocktails in the Hudson Hotel’s dimly lit Library Lounge.
