The happy crowd

HRH Prince Harry of Wales and Forget Me Not NOLA group
This past Sunday on Governors Island, as the whole world knows – or could if they wanted to – Prince Harry aka Prince Henry of Wales competed with Nacho Figueras in the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic. It was hot enough to drive all but the coolest straight off the field and into their air conditioned limos and yachts.

BUT ... it’s not every day that the charming prince, the youngest of Princess Diana’s sons, makes an appearance in New York. And so they were there, patient, sweating maybe a lot, delighted to be in close proximity of the man of the moment. Gayle King, Mary J. Blige, Susan Sarandon, Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner, Russell Simmons, Veronica Webb, Byrdie Bell, Mayor Bloomberg and Diana Taylor, Josh Lucas, Val Kilmer, Julianna Margulies among the happy crowd.
