Guests packed Judy's Old Town Crossing gallery to sip, schmooze and even shop. It was a fun, buzzy mix of design pros, clients, family and friends... the kind of party you just didn't want to leave.

Down in Dallas ... Last week Stanley Korshak rocked the runway with its second annual ROCKNRUNWAY fashion event. Set in the beautiful courtyard of the store, ROCKNRUNWAY ushers in the new fall season before the event begins.

This year's event benefited the Echelon group of Salvation Army with guests encouraged to make a donation and/or bring in a gently pair of used jeans for their denim drive.
The RocknRunway scene
With more than 600 in attendance, ROCKNRUNWAY featured fall designs in three fabulous fashion shows amplified by the music of DJ Lucy Wrubel.

The younger fete set, and the young at heart, continued to dance the night away at the Rap Up Party in "The Shak" which began just after the runway shows.

On Saturday, August 18th crowds of Wounded Warrior Project and ReserveAid supporters turned up at the Stephen Talkhouse in Amagansett to vote for their favorite band competing in Wall Street Rocks Battle of the Bands Round 2. Competing financial bands included The Subscribers, The Moroccan Sheepherders and The Holiday Electric, a group comprising a Hedge Fund CFO, an asset manager and a former Warner Brothers recording artist. The event included special guest performances by C3 (The Chocolate Cuckoo Clocks) and Madame Mayhem, who is releasing her debut album “White Noise” in the fall.

Guests including David Hudson, Cassandra Seidenfeld, Jennifer Tripodi, Donna Drake, Leesa Rowland and Larry Wohl, Robin Cofer and Domenick D’Alleva, Jane and Joe Pontarelli, came out to show their support of Wall Street Rocks and the charities it benefits.

Wall Street Rocks is a collaboration of employees in the financial, technology and entertainment industries, who are passionate about giving support to heroic Americans who serve our nation, including military veterans and first responders. Last year, through one benefit concert at IrvingPlaza, Wall Street Rocks was able to raise $257,000 for veteran’s charities and this year is looking to double that.

This year's fundraising efforts kicked off with a sold-out first round of competition at Mercury Lounge on July 10th in NYC. Wall Street Rocks will return to NYC on October 30th for the third round of Battle of the Bands.  The series will culminate in a final round gala event in December, which will feature performances by the winners of the preliminary three rounds alongside guest acts.
