Champions for the cause

Jackie Weld Drake hosted a cocktail reception to honor Elizabeth Peabody, who will be the awardee at the upcoming annual Casita Maria dinner dance.
This past Monday night Jackie Weld Drake hosted a cocktail reception at her Park Avenue apartment to honor Elizabeth Peabody who is this year's awardee at the annual Casita Maria dinner dance. This is the annual fundraiser for the Casita Maria Center which has served the Hispanic community since 1934. Casita is a valuable, helpful resource to those familes adapting to life in a new environment. Mrs. Drake is a champion for this cause and as made this annual gala a popular one. Photos from the lens of Patrick McMullan give you an idea of the atmosphere at this party where everyone seemed relaxed and enjoying the company.
