Chie
Imai, founder and designer of Royal Chie at 635 Madison Avenue
(at 59th Street), the furrier to Japan’s royal family, held
a show of her latest collection at a luncheon last Thursday at the
St. Regis Roof of the St. Regis Hotel. Ms. Imai, who is known worldwide
for her innovative designs of furs and leathers dress a stellar crowd
with lots of oohing and aahing.
