Neil LaBute, Marisa Tomei, Sydney Pollack, Stephen Daldry, Ismail
Merchant & James Ivory, along with Indyssey Entertainment
& Grand Classics heads and hosts Katrina Pavlos,
Vanessa Wingate, and Andrew Saffir, and
presented one of her all-time favorite films, Blake Edwards’
1968 laugh riot The Party starring the incomparable Peter
Sellers.
Rosie told the hip crowd in attendance at Soho House’s swank
screening room, that she first viewed the film prior to being in the
movie business, when she was on her way to becoming a biochemist (before
Spike Lee, another Grand Classics host,
changed all of that). She praised Peter Sellers’ comic genius,
which she looks to for inspiration, and which is something, according
to Rosie, that a comic aspires to all of their life. |
