Sunday, December 14th, The Metro-Manhattan Chapter of The Links, Inc.
held their holiday gala themed "Club Harlem" at Capitale.
Sunday's event was a throwback to the "old Harlem" with
notable guests such as the Honorable Carl McCall and and Dr.
Joyce Brown, Fernando Ferrer, Vicki Mabrey, Thelma Golden and
Michael Henry Adams, B. Smith, Alma and Charlie Rangel.
The Links, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization where members, all
of African Ancestry, are linked by 274 chapters around the globe.
The Metro-Manhattan Chapter of The Links, Inc. is comprised of 55
prominent women from the New York area who focus on Harlem as their
exclusive area of service. This year's gala raised over $90,000 to
benefit the chapter's community service efforts. |
