Theatre Wing’s Annual Honors Luncheon |

On Monday, April 14th, the American Theatre Wing
hosted its Annual Honors Luncheon at the Pierre Hotel. This year’s
honorees were Dasha Epstein, Carole Shorenstein Hays, Terry
Allen Kramer, Margo Lion, Lynne Meadow, Elizabeth Ireland McCann,
Chase Mishkin, Nelle Nugent, Daryl Roth, Anita Waxman, Fran Weissler
and Elizabeth Williams.

Clarissa
and Edgar Bronfman, Jr. were the Chairs for this celebration
and Donald Brooks, Theodore Chapin, Sondra Gilman Gonzalez-Falla,
Jay Harris, Douglas Leeds, Jo Sullivan Loesser, Michael Price, Roy
A. Somlyo and Isabelle Stevenson served
as the Co-Chairs. Harvey Fierstein was the emcee.
The luncheon benefited the American Theatre Wing’s educational
and charitable programs.
For over 80 years, the American Theatre Wing has provided service
to the community and the theatre through its educational programs,
scholarship awards, grant program and young audience development.
This is in fulfillment of its mission to be an active participant
in the American theatre community through education and recognition
of excellence. |

Industry
celebrated its one-year anniversary |

A
couple of weeks ago, Industry (a celeb haunt in the
East Village favored by Mark McGrath, Kim Cattrall and
Colin Farrell) celebrated its one year anniversary. Patrick
McDonald held court at his VIP table to drink and dance the
night away with Brini Maxwell, celebrity photographer
Roxanne Lowitt, Baroness Sheri de Borchgrave, Agnes Demides,
Laird Borelli and Full Frontal Fashion’s Robert
Verdi. British beauty Alice Sykes dropped
by to check out the downtown scene.
DJ Stéphane Pompougnac of Hotel Costes fame (recently
out of the studio mixing his new solo compilation w/ REM’s Michael
Stipe) and/or the Zygo Energy Vodka kept this crowd going
until the wee hours. |
