Donna Karan, Charla Lawhon and InStyle magazine
got together a “Super Saturday 6” benefit last Saturday
out in Water Mill at the Nova’s Ark Project on Millstone Road.
The event benefitted the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund. It was one
of those “shop till you drop” affairs, a gigantic world
famous designer garage sale, plus a kid’s carnival with
rides and games, plus In Style photo booths, plus arts and crafts,
plus entertainment and ghosh food (aka “snacks”).
Benefit chairs were Patti and Harvey Cohen and Faith and Jeffrey
Kogan; Fabien Baron and Malin Ericson, Loraine and Peter Boyle, Christie
Brinkley and Peter Cook, Mia and patrick Demarchelier, Scott Foley,
Tania and Brian Higgins, Katie Holmes, Anne Keating, Marci Klein,
Neil Kraft, Kyle MacLaclan and Desiree Gruber, Cynthia Parsons-McDaniel,
Hal Rubenstein, Mara and Ricky Sandler, Helen and Timothy Schifter,
Molly Sims, Bronwen Smith, Andrew Tilberis, Cindy Weber-Cleary, Alek
Wek, Arden Wohl, and Joslyn Wohl. The whole
thing was underwritten by the three hosts so ever penny they took
in goes to Ovarian Cancer Research. |

the garage sales participants? What did you miss? I’ve
got the list before me and let me tell you, it’s a mile long,
so you’re not going to get it from me; forget it. Everybody.
Donna, of course, and Calvin and Betsey Johnson and Cole Haan and
DVF and Jill Stuart and Jimmy Choo and Kim Hicks, Kennedy Cole, Polo
Ralph Lauren, Sean John Salvatore Ferragamo, Stubbs&Wooten, Melissa

it goes on forever. If you weren’t there, you missed out. If
you were there, you did a good thing by being there. |
