Italy has produced the finest film posters in the world for much of
the 20th century. Though the distinctive tradition of Italian film
posters is well known to European collectors and cinephiles, this
national genre remains largely unknown to the American public. The
book offers essays by Dave Kehr with an Introduction by Martin
Scorses, and features posters from: The
Good, the Bad and the Ugly; Rear Window; The Fountainhead; A Fistful
of Dollars; The Long Haul and more. |
