Newport for the Carnegie Ball to benefit Save The Bay |

They
held the Carnegie Ball a few weeks ago at Oakwood, the
private residence of Peter and Lana de Savary, to
benefit Save The Bay.
450 were in attendance in black tie and masque while the Samba Wizards
and Bellevue Cadallic kept them till the wee hours.
Trips to Abaco Club on Winding Bay, Skibo Castle, Cherokee Plantation,
Il Boro, Bovey Castle in Devon, and Carnegie Abbey were auctioned
off adding to the $50,000 raised on this Newport night. |
