Hospital Celebrates 100 Years with Fall Gala |

Greenwich, CT - Greenwich Hospital's celebrated its 100th
anniversary Gala, "Time to Celebrate: 100 Years
of Greenwich Hospital," at the Hyatt Regency in Old Greenwich.
Barbara B. Miller of Greenwich chaired the volunteer
committee that planned the event, which raised money to benefit the
Cardiac Program at the hospital. The evening's Silent Auction was
centered around the theme "Time." The auction, led by auctioneer
Bill Ruprecht, President and CEO of Sotheby's Holdings,
Inc., featured an exquisite collection of watches, designer clothing,
travel items and other timepieces.
Among a few of the incredible items donated to auction included: a
18k gold diamond encrusted Cartier Panthere Ruban watch valued at
$27,500; an 18k gold and pearl Chopard necklace from the "Les
Chaurs" collection valued at $15,060; a 7-day Caribbean cruise
on a SeaDream Yacht valued at $9,800; and four tickets to the finals
of American Idol including two rooms for two nights at The
Peninsula Hotel and four roundtrip business class airline tickets. |

Television
news anchors E.D. Hill and Hannah Storm
were the co-chairs of the evening's live auction. Hill is a co-host
of Fox News Channel's live morning show Fox and Friends,
and Storm is a co-anchor of The Early Show, CBS News' weekday
morning broadcast.
Acclaimed New York City party planner and floral designer Renny
Reynolds was again in charge of the décor. Among his
many credits is working as a floral consultant to the White House
during the Clinton, Reagan, Ford and Nixon
administrations.
The band Duck Soup from Austin, Texas played a great variety of oldies
and newer songs. Their credits include performing at PGA tournaments
and the Presidential Gala for George Bush in Washington,
DC in January, 2001.
