Calvary
Hospital held its 21st Annual Awards dinner dance on
a Tuesday last June 15th at the Plaza. Indra
K. Nooyi,
President
and CFO of PepsiCo received the Calvary Medal in recognition of
her distinguished corporate and civic leadership and PepsiCo’s
support of Calvary Hospital and its mission. LaSalle D.
Leffall Jr., MD., chairman of the Susan G. Komen Breast
Cancer Foundation and Charles R. Drew, Professor
of Surgery, Howard University College of Medicine, received the Annie
Blount Storrs in recognition of
their distinguished careers in care of cancer patients.

providing care to adult patients in the advanced stages of cancer,
addressing the symptoms of the disease, not its cure. Operated
in connection with the Archdiocese of New York, Calvary is a voluntary,
not-for-profit hospital embodying a tradition of caring through
