Well,
New Year’s Eve was almost a week ago and
New Yorkers were celebrating with the rest of them and the best of
them all over
the planet. From the “feel” of the town, a lot of them
are still out there celebrating. A cabbie told me today that the
city is very quiet and that the most activity was out at the airport
where New Yorkers are still arriving from their sojourns on the slopes
or the sea.
We had a very quiet New Year’s Eve as reported here, although
JH had a bit of a noisier one celebrating with family and old friends
in Boca Raton. However, the peripatetic and ubiquitous Patrick
McMullan and/or his merry band of photographers were here there and everywhere
on the Big Night. The following is a summary of what was seen through
