An evening in Bel Air to salute American Ballet Theatre
A performance by ABT's dancers
Los Angeles. Last Friday, Robin and Elliot Broidy hosted American Ballet Theatre for a special "Evening in Bel Air" benefit with a private dinner party at their home in Bel Air. The evening included a cocktail party, with a special performance by ABT's dancers, and a dinner under the stars. More than $200,000 was raised for ABT in order to continue performing in Los Angeles, in an effort to uphold the company's commitment as "America's National Ballet Company."
The event was co-chaired by Avery and Andy Barth, Lori and Michael Milken, Phyllis and Angelo Mozilo, and Laura and Jamie Rosenwald. Guests included Patricia Kennedy, Maria and Bill Bell, Beth and Michael Moskowitz, Lee Baca, Susan and Alan Casden, Kelly and Martin Katz, Vivan and Nathan Hochman, Elizabeth and Dennis Tito, Assemblywoman Karen Bass, Sondra and David Silverstein, Pamel and Dr. Steven Hoefflin, Sandy and Larry Post, Treva Brandon, Dr. Richard Merkin, Tracy and Bart Zitnisky, Janet and David Polak, and Diane and Gil Glazer.
ABT’s renowned dancers performed a program of highlights from Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, Le Corsaire, Aria and Four Preludes.
