2023 Bideawee Ball

Martinis and dog biscuits will be on the menu on Wednesday, May 17th at the 2023 Bideawee Ball where playful pups and the people who love them will raise funds to rescue, treat and place homeless dogs and cats in permanent, loving homes. Bideawee is one of the country’s oldest animal welfare and pet adoption organizations with locations in Manhattan and Long Island.

The fundraising gala – open to well-behaved dogs and their doting human parents – will take place at the Ziegfeld Ballroom in Manhattan. The Ball will offer a special Canine Lounge complete with a treat bar, sponsored by Hill’s Pet Nutrition exclusively for our four-legged guests, and a cocktail bar sponsored by Tito’s Handmade Vodka.

For the humans on hand, the evening will offer a cocktail hour, sponsored by Tito’s Handmade Vodka, seated dinner, donation appeal, and a live auction. Music is courtesy of DJ Bright Light Bright Light, a Bideawee adopter.

This year’s Bideawee Ball honoree is John Fitzgerald, President, James E. Fitzgerald, Inc., who is leading the Construction Management team responsible for building Bideawee’s new state-of-the-art Manhattan home, and Thomas W. Young, Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer, Nielsen Media Research, Bideawee Secretary and Board Member, for his extraordinary dedication to Bideawee with a special commitment to the Feral Cat Initiative.

Dress code for the more than 300 hundred people and 100 pups is black-tie optional.
