What makes a great leader? They possess passion and purpose, as well as empathy, dedication to a mission, and openness to new ideas. In addition to these qualities, great leaders are often forged through challenges. Over the past 30 years the Chairs of the Historic House Trust (HHT) have embodied all of these leadership traits– qualities that helped them steer a collection of largely neglected, decaying City-owned historic sites toward a brighter future. Despite obstacles, these intrepid leaders prevailed and 23 remarkable sites no flourish as centers of culture and education, bringing history to life for hundreds of thousands of local schoolchildren and other visitors. HHT will honor the exemplary leadership of these former Chairs: Join us Monday, June 10th in celebrating their lasting achievements, which provide enduring value to many of New York City’s greatest historic treasures. If you would like your name to appear on the invitation as a sponsor, kindly reply by April 24th. This anniversary year, become a part of HHT’s promising future. You can help these extraordinary public assets, with their diverse and engaging stories, inspire the next generation of leaders. All proceeds support the Historic House Trust, a nonprofit organization working in tandem with NYC Parks to provide essential support for 23 sites of architectural and cultural significance.Event Calendar
