A Tribute to Toni Morrison: Song of Solomon Marathon Reading

Literacy Partners is proud to present A Tribute to Toni Morrison, a three-day on-camera marathon reading of Song of Solomon, taking place on Friday, November 27, Saturday, November 28 and Sunday, November 29. The benefit performance was produced as part of Literacy Partners’ “Words Shape Our World” event series – a new series of online special events focusing on racial and social justice. 15 notable, award-winning authors and story tellers were recorded at home, on-camera, each reading a chapter from the book, for an intimate connection with audience members watching from their homes. The organization’s mission and programming to advance adult and family literacy, supports a meaningful opportunity to pursue an anti-racist future.
