Put on your most comfortable walking shoes and enjoy a walk to performances of dance, music, and poetry throughout Fort Tryon Park, conceived and directed by Amy Kail. Poet Paul Rabinowitz will lead viewers to see and hear dance, music, and poetry performed on benches, lawns, stairways, pathways, near rock faces, and under trees. The impressive ensemble of contemporary artists inspired by nature and the elegance of the park include Modern, Post-Modern, Flamenco, jazz, Folk, and African dance performed by Lisa Green, Amy Kail, Sandra Rivera, Navarra Novy-Williams, and Maxine Steinman, and feature music by composers/musicians John Ehlis and Jessica Lurie.
