American Friends of Blérancourt (AFB) 2021 Annual Gala Dinner
November 8 @ 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Judith Pisar will be bestowed the 2021 Anne Morgan Women of Courage Award and George Sape will be bestowed The Château de Blérancourt Award at the American Friends of Blérancourt (AFB) annual black-tie gala on Monday, November 8th from 7pm to 10pm in New York City.
The American Friends of Blérancourt, which supports the development of the only Franco-American museum in France, the “Musée de Blérancourt,” awarded the first Women of Courage Award in 2018 to actress and singer Rita Wilson and in 2019 to French Philanthropist Hélène David-Weill. The Château de Blérancourt Award tributes individuals who upholds the mission of furthering the Franco-American friendship with the Museum of Blérancourt and has made the expansion project at the Museum possible.
The Museum of Blérancourt, situated just north of Paris is the only museum of its kind, celebrating the Franco-American relationship from the time of the American War of Independence, throughout WW I and WW II to the present day. It is housed in the chateau of the late Anne Morgan, daughter of the powerful financier J.P. Morgan, who rebuilt the castle and gave it to the French government as a museum honoring French and American friendship.
