Arlo’s Living Room Gallery: Opening Reception at NoMad Diner

Experience a night of art, food and drag bingo to add some color to your week at Arlo Nomad Wednesday, September 25th from 6-8pm for a one-of-one opening reception of Arlo’s Living Room Gallery, which includes dinner specials at Nomad Diner and Drag Bing.

6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Art Exhibition: Whimsical food photography by Akiko Ida and Pierre Javelle:

The evening begins with the new, visually (and tastily) appetizing exhibition of whimsical food photography by the esteemed Akiko Ida and Pierre Javelle in partnership with Madelyn Jordan Fine Art. Curated by Jasmine Arkel, their enticing exhibition will delight art aficionados and casual visitors alike. This interactive evening will allow attendees to speak with Jasmine and gallerists about the artwork, take a piece home with them and talk about art with like-minded individuals.

Dinner Specials at Nomad Diner:

Following the exhibit, head to Nomad Diner for exciting takes on classic comfort food, and treat yourself to some bites as good as the ones on the walls. Chef Fred Maurer has taken his creativity to the kitchen and made some art of his own with the inventive menu full of classic go-to dishes that have had a majorly modern glow-up. The diner will be offering specials to celebrate the exhibition, like a Malted Egg Cream cocktail with your choice of Arlo Dog or Smashburger for $25. The perfect hideaway for creatives to come together over diner delights like Disco Fries, Steak Frites and Truffle Chicken Salad, Nomad Diner will transport guests to a different time and place away from the stress of everyday life.

7 p.m. Drag Bingo at Nomad Diner:

Keep the fun going with new and old friends alike and head to Drag Bingo at 7pm and add some sparkle and sass to your Wednesday. Hosted by the dazzling Jacklynn Hyde, a Glam Award-winning drag queen, this is not your average bingo, blending glamor and humor with the classic game for an unforgettable night. This free event offers attendees the chance to win delectable prizes and includes two complimentary, artisanal drinks from the sensational NoMad Diner!

This event is open to the public, so feel free to bring your friends, lovers, colleagues, and open minds for a night of fine art, eats, and discussion. These artworks are available for purchase.
